VIDEO LINE CORRECTOR (BH74BB)

bh74bb The BH74BB has been designed as a repeater unit for use with twisted pair cables so that high quality pictures may be transmitted over long distances. Suitable for colour or monochrome video signals the unit will equalise the incoming cable losses to a maximum of 45dB at 5MHz. The Gain, Low frequency lift, Medium frequency lift, High frequency lift, Input impedance and Input/output balance are all independently adjustable. Internal surge protection is fitted as standard on all units.

TECHNICAL	DESCRIPTION
INPUT SIGNAL REQUIREMENTS	Composite video using colour / monochrome signals or other wide band signals within a frequency bandwidth of 30Hz to 5MHz.
INPUT SIGNAL AMPLITUDE	Nominal 2 volts peak to peak.
NOMINAL OUTPUT AMPLITUDE	1 volt peak to peak, terminated in 75 ohms.
AT UNITY GAIN	Differential Phase <3 degrees / Differential Gain <3%.
INPUT IMPEDANCE	Factory set at a nominal 150 ohms (adjustable between approx. 70 and 230 ohms).
OUTPUT IMPEDANCE	150 ohms (balanced).
INPUT/OUTPUT CONNECTIONS	Miniature binding posts.
CORRECTOR RESPONSE IN BAND	Adjustable to compensate for frequency dependent cable losses to a maximum of 45dB at 5MHz.
LIFT RESPONCE	7 lift controls are fitted: GAIN, LF, MF, HF1, HF2, HF3 and HF4. These controls allow individual adjustments within the video passband
INPUT/OUTPUT BALANCE	The balance of both the input and output signals may be adjusted to obtain the best picture.
