VIDEO LINE CORRECTOR (BH73 BU)

bh73bu The BH73BU unit has been designed to compensate for losses in twisted pair video cables so that high quality pictures may be transmitted over long distances.

Each channel has the following controls: Gain, Low frequency lift, Medium frequency lift, High frequency lift 1-4, Input Impedance and Input balance. These controls are all independently adjustable.

Surge protection is fitted as standard to the input and output of each
channel.

TECHNICAL	DESCRIPTION
INPUT SIGNAL REQUIREMENT	Composite video, colour / monochrome video signals or other wide band signals within a frequency bandwidth of between 30Hz and 5MHz
INPUT IMPEDANCE	Factory set at a nominal 150 ohms (adjustable between approx. 75 and 230 ohms ).
INPUT SIGNAL AMPLITUDE	Nominal 2 volts peak to peak (balanced).
OUTPUT SIGNAL AMPLITUDE	Nominal 1 volt peak to peak when terminated in 75 ohms.
AT UNITY GAIN	Differential Phase < 3 degrees / Differential Gain < 3%.
OUTPUT IMPEDANCE	75 ohms.
CORRECTOR RESPONSE IN BAND	Adjustable to compensate for frequency dependent cable losses to a maximum of 45dB at 5MHz.
INPUT CONNECTORS	Spring loaded quick-fit connectors.
OUTPUT CONNECTORS	75 ohm BNC connectors.
INPUT BALANCE CONTROLS	Can be adjusted to minimise interference and patterning.
LIFT CONTROLS	7 lift controls are fitted: GAIN, LF, MF, HF1, HF2, HF3 and HF4. These controls allow individual adjustments within the video passband.
AC INPUT CONNECTOR	IEC type connector, 3 pole fixed plug.
POWER REQUIREMENTS	Nominal 230V 50Hz or 110V 50Hz.
POWER CONSUMPTION	Approximately 48 watts at 230V 50Hz.
OPERATING TEMP. RANGE	-10°C to +40°C.
